NORA’s Outdoor Recreation division is all about helping kids and families discover, explore, and enjoy the natural spaces in our community. Our mission is to make the outdoors accessible, engaging, and fun for all ages. To give kids a taste of outdoor recreation, we offer Outdoor Recreation Explorers programs throughout the year. Typically 3-4 days where we try different experiences each day to see all that our area has to offer. Our goal is to keep these programs low cost and provide as much equipment as possible so the focus can be on fun and trying something new.
Bundle up and join us for a brand-new Winter Break adventure! Kids will explore the outdoors, take photos, and create their own nature journal as they learn archery, hike the dunes, and complete a winter scavenger hunt and shelter-building challenge. This camp will be held December 29 - 31 from 9am - 11am at Lake Hills Elementary School. Click below to discover the full Nature Explorers Camp and save your spot!
