Girls Exploring Together (G.E.T.) Outdoors

NORA Girls Exploring Together (G.E.T.) Outdoors is a program designed to help girls build confidence, form friendships, and explore the natural world in a supportive and encouraging environment. Through activities like hiking, kayaking, geocaching, archery, and fishing and more, participants discover new skills and the joy of being active outdoors. Led by NORA’s Recreation Program Coordinator, Jackie Rowland, G.E.T. Outdoors is all about creating memorable experiences that inspire a lifelong love of nature while connecting with other adventurous girls.

G.E.T. Outdoors Summer Camps 2026

Spring G.E.T. Outdoors invites girls to explore, connect, and build confidence through outdoor adventure. These four-day camps feature archery, biking, hiking, paddlesports, and more  at some of West Michigan’s favorite outdoor spaces. Designed for all experience levels, G.E.T. Outdoors creates a welcoming environment where girls are encouraged to try new activities, support one another, and discover what they’re capable of outdoors. It’s more than a program — it’s a community. Both sessions will meet from 10am - 12pm in various locations. See registration page for more details and activities.
