NORA partners with Lakeshore Taekwondo Academy to bring high-quality martial arts instruction to kids year-round. Our Fall, Winter, and Spring Taekwondo classes introduce students to the fundamentals of the sport, guiding them from beginner level through yellow stripe by the end of the session. Each program emphasizes discipline, self-defense, and confidence-building in a supportive, structured environment. In the summer, kids can join our Ninja Camps—weeklong sessions held in June, July, and August—that blend taekwondo skills with fun games and activities. With instructors who are black belts and active competitors at the state, national, and international levels, participants receive expert instruction while discovering the strength, focus, and confidence martial arts can inspire.
Ms Alaina Feldpausch will be teaching this session of Intro to Taekwondo. Each class will work through warm ups, poomsae (forms), Korean vocabulary and preparing for the final board break of the belt test. Alaina works part time for Lakeshore Taekwondo Academy and can answer questions from anyone who wants to know more about joining LTA regularly. Ms Alaina Feldpausch will be teaching a special session of Intro to Taekwondo just for the littles - ages 3-5 (must be potty trained). Kick, punch, and roar into fun with Intro to Tiger Tots! This playful, 30-minute class introduces our youngest martial artists to movement, listening skills, confidence, and basic Taekwondo through games and age-appropriate instruction. The 7-week session wraps up with a special belt test so every Tiger Tot can shine and celebrate their hard work. This class is held at Lakeshore Taekwondo Academy with a special set up just for the little kids. It is a preview of the full Tiger Tots program where kids can continue their journey until they're ready for the Taekwondo Little Kickers Program which has more structure.
