NORA Youth Fishing

NORA’s Youth Fishing Programs are a great way for kids to get outside, try something new, and build confidence on the water. Participants will learn the basics of fishing — including casting, baiting a hook, water safety, and fish identification — while exploring local parks and waterways. We provide bait for each session, and thanks to generous donations, fishing poles are available for anyone who doesn’t have their own. Whether your child is brand new to fishing or has some experience, this program offers a fun, relaxed environment to learn and enjoy time outdoors.

Summer 2026

NORA Youth Fishing Camp
Join NORA for a fun-filled Youth Fishing Camp led by Mr. Nolan Osborne, running Monday–Thursday, June 29–July 2! Campers will spend the first three days fishing from shore and docks at local parks, building skills like casting, baiting their own hooks, and learning basic fish identification. On the final day, we’ll switch things up and meet at Lakeshore Kayak Rental for a unique on-the-water experience, fishing from canoes. Bait and canoe rental are included in the registration fee. Participants are welcome to bring their own fishing gear, but NORA will provide rods, bait, and extra supplies for anyone who needs them. This camp is perfect for beginners and those looking to grow their fishing skills while enjoying time outdoors!
