Ice Skating - Learn to Skate - Winter 2026

Glide into winter fun with our Ice Skating Classes, taught by the professional instructors from Griff’s IceHouse West in Holland! Whether your child is stepping onto the ice for the first time or looking to build on existing skills, this 7-week program offers age-appropriate and skill-level-specific instruction in a supportive, confidence-building environment.

Mondays • 6:00pm – 6:40pm

Location: Griff’s IceHouse West in Holland 

Ages 3+

Skate rental is included. Please plan to arrive a little early to get laced up so participants are ready when ice time begins at 6pm.
Remember to dress warmly and bring a helmet for safety.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • What should my child wear?: Dress warmly but in clothes that kids are able to move in. We suggest wearing winter weather gear with layers kids can take off if they get warm.
  • Does my child need their own ice skates?: No - skate rentals are provided if they don't have their own skates. Bring a few pairs of socks if you are using rental skates, it is nice to have an extra layer of socks to keep feet warm/comfortable.
  • Do parents stay?: Parents can stay but are not allowed on the ice. There is a heated spectator area where you can watch the lessons.
